Meet the Aesthetics journal’s Clinical Advisory Board

Leading figures from the medical aesthetic community have joined the Aesthetics Advisory Board to help steer the direction of our educational, clinical and business content.

Sharon Bennett

Chair of BACN, former UK lead of the BSI committee for aesthetic non-surgical standards, and member of the JCCP Clinical Advisory Group. Also a cosmetic medical practice trainer and a registered university mentor, currently pursuing an MSc at Northumbria University.

Mr Naveen Cavale

A consultant plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgeon, with his private clinic and hospital, REAL, in London's Battersea. He also holds key positions as the national secretary for ISAPS, president of the Royal Society of Medicine & vice-chair for the BFIRS.

Jackie Partridge

As an aesthetic nurse prescriber, she holds a BSc in Professional Practice (Dermatology) and recently earned a Master's in Aesthetic Medicine. She serves as a course mentor for the Master's programme and is a founding board member of the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses.

Miss Elizabeth Hawkes

A consultant ophthalmologist and oculoplastic surgeon, Miss Hawkes leads oculoplastic surgery at the Cadogan Clinic, focusing on blepharoplasty and advanced facial aesthetics. She's a full member of BOPSS and ESOPRS.

Dr Mayoni Gooneratne

With 18+ years of medical & surgical experience, her career began in surgery, as a graduate of St George’s Hospital Medical School and has been a member of the Royal College of Surgeons since 2002. Highly commended in the Best New Clinic in UK and Ireland Award at the Aesthetics Awards & shortlisted for Best London Clinic.

Dr Tapan Patel

Founder & medical director of PHI Clinic, Dr. Patel has over 16 years of clinical experience, with 14+ years dedicated to aesthetic treatments. Recently featured in Tatler's Top 30 Anti-Ageing Experts, showcasing his passion for high standards in aesthetic medicine.

Dr Stephanie Williams

A dermatologist specialising in adult acne, rosacea, and aesthetic medicine, she's the founder and medical director of EUDELO Dermatology & Skin Wellbeing in London. She's also the creator of Delo Rx skincare.

Mr Adrian Richards

With 18 years' experience, he's a plastic and cosmetic surgeon, clinical director at Cosmetic Courses, and a surgeon at The Private Clinic. He's a member of both the British Association of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons and the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons.

Dr Souphiyeh Samizadeh

A dental surgeon with a Master's degree in Aesthetic Medicine and a PGCert in Clinical Education. She is the founder of the Great British Academy of Medicine and Revivify London Clinic.
